RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation, configuration, maintenance and optimization of SIEM solution
  • Ensuring centralization of security logs in SIEM from all critical IT assets
  • Monitoring & Identification of Security events, incidents & subsequent analysis
  • Monitoring of all type of security traffic through SIEM and Submission of reports to the concerned teams and the management on daily basis across critical security events/incidents
  • Analyze the security breach to reach the root cause.
  • Handling escalations and response actions for existing information security events/incidents
  • Identifying & reporting real time attacks & vulnerabilities.
  • Correlation of Security Devices Reports
  • Review the security devices alerts.
  • Ensure that incidents are correctly reported and documented in accordance with the Logging and Monitoring procedures.
  • To provide technical escalation point during security incidents, establishing the extent of an attack, and advising on how best to contain the incident along with advice on systems hardening and mitigation measures to prevent a reoccurrence.
  • Document incidents to contribute to incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Developing new monitoring techniques and response capabilities.
  • Hunting for risk in the environment and relating findings to actionable activities.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation across logging and monitoring as per ISMS.
