Job Description

SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing triggers, indexes and constraints on database.
  • Creating and managing stored procedures using T-SQL.
  • Query optimization for different new or existing module.
  • Installation of SQL Server software and related products.
  • Establish and maintain backups on local and remote media.
  • Performance monitoring using performance monitor, DBCC commands, maintenance plans, Third Party Tools.
  • Analyze applications performance using Query-Execution plans, Index utilization and Procedure Cache Utilization.
  • In Database Programming, Use of Indexes, Normalization Techniques, Execution Plans, T-SQL and Stored Procedures.
  • Plan Growth and Changes (Capacity planning) with Team. (Import/Export).
  • Writing Database Procedures, Functions and Triggers. Tune Database Queries.
  • Optimization of SQL Server, Stored Procedures and SQL Scripts.
  • Monitoring application related jobs and Data Replication activities.


  • SQL, Query tuning and optimization working knowledge.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in SQL server Administration
