Job Description

  • Oversees the operations of multiple medical billing services, which may encompass medical coding, charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, follow-up, and/or reimbursement management.
  • Reviews and interprets operational data to assess need for procedural revisions and enhancements; participates in the design and implementation of specific systems to enhance revenue and operating efficiency.
  • Ensures that the activities of the billing operations teams within the group are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and are in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Assesses and responds to current and future internal and external healthcare trends in order to establish and ensure the necessary direction for revenue cycle activities.
  • Continually seeks ways and means for improving the delivery and support of operational activities and programs.
  • Assures that all departmental systems incorporate the principles of total and continuous quality improvement while exceeding the expectations of the clients.
  • Assures satisfaction among client groups with the quality and amount of support provided by monitoring and responding appropriately to outcomes and feedback.
  • Understands the job functions of all Operations staff, is aware of process flow across departments, and involves them, as appropriate, when recommended actions may impact their work functions.
  • In conjunction with other department leaders, implements strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Responsible for a continual assessment of client needs and to recommend potential solutions.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a well-reputed local/foreign university.
  • Overall 10 years of experience including 05 years in a senior management position.
  • Experience in healthcare IT industry will be a plus.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare IT industry, clinical applications and how they integrate or relate to operations will be a plus.
  • Demonstrate leadership, communication, mentoring and customer service skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) operations
