We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team as Management Trainee Officer (Accounts) / Staff Accountant at our office on I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. This full-time, onsite position requires working night shifts from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. It presents an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or those with limited experience to gain practical accounting skills in a professional setting. We currently have 2 to 3 openings available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, transaction posting, and maintaining general ledgers.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, such as expense tracking and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts to verify accuracy.
- Provide assistance to the finance team during audits and financial reviews.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or ACCA (Part Qualified) is mandatory.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in accounting or finance are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, ERP systems, or similar platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts at the specified location.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience with accounting software and financial reporting is advantageous but not required.
- The position offers a monthly salary of Rs40,000.
- Working onsite allows for hands-on experience and direct interaction with the finance team, supporting professional growth.
