Job Purpose:

To manage, plan, and control the entire textile production process from Griege fabric to finished goods shipment, ensuring on-time delivery, required quality, cost efficiency, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Control

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on orders and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with planning, printing and QA departments for smooth workflow.
Ensure optimal machine and manpower utilization to achieve production targets.
Review cut-to-ship progress and ensure timely completion of each process stage.

2. Process Management

Supervise Fabric Checking, Inline Cutting, Packing & Shipment Operations.
Monitor process parameters, shade matching, and quality consistency throughout production.
Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions for improvement.

3. Quality & Compliance

Ensure all processes comply with buyer specifications, internal SOPs, and quality standards.
Work closely with the QA team to minimize rejections, defects, and reworks.
Enforce in-line inspections and final quality checks before dispatch.

4. Cost & Efficiency Control

Control production costs, reduce wastage, and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure effective use of resources (manpower, material, and machinery).
Track production KPIs such as yield %, rejection %, and productivity.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and manage production supervisors, shift in-charges, and line operators.
Conduct daily production meetings to review progress and challenges.
Develop staff skills through training, guidance, and performance monitoring.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of production, process parameters, downtime, and output.
Prepare daily and monthly reports for management review.
Ensure traceability of orders from fabric cutting to shipment.

7. Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure all production activities follow safety, environmental, and labor compliance standards.
Enforce proper PPE usage and safe machine operation practices.
