Field Officer

Responsible to: District Coordinator / Provincial Coordinator          

Responsible for:

To lead Social Mobilization teams, Community Mobilization, Supervision, monitoring, capacity building and Sustainability of interventions and changed behaviour of communities.                                  

Purpose of the Post:

Responsible for all the Community Mobilization, Supervision, monitoring, capacity building and Sustainability of infrastructure. ensure the effective field implementation, team management, coordination with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and store all records in line with MA document management and IT policies.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Champion our values of compassion, empowerment, justice for all and accountability when performing your work. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility of Social Mobilization teams and activities in their respective Union Council.
• Supervise and monitor the progress of Social Mobilizers (Male and Female) in team.
• Supervise field research activities pertaining to base line, assessment, case studies and develop quality photo record.
• To encourage and stimulate full participation of all community members; with special attention to those who are usually un-accessed, marginalized and overlooked in community decision making process.
• Properly orient the project staff about overall objectives and activities of the project
• Review team work plans, reports and give feedback
• Provide field level guidance and facilitation to the team member
• Arrange events / activities for the capacity building of project staff Conduct weekly & monthly project review meeting with staff
• Deal with the issues/matter discussed with team during reviews
• Ensure Timely Development and Submission of Project Reports
• Review & Monitoring of Project Activities and can make DIP with involvement of staff
• Ensure Project Coordination, Networking and Visibility in coordination with District Coordinator
• Handling of Beneficiary & Stakeholders Complaints
• Emphasize smooth implementation of organizational policies and Code of Conducts in respective project activities
• Develop success stories and Beneficiary Satisfaction Reports
• Ensure regular visits to field (Highlight issues and ability to resolve at their if any)
• Ensure Project Implementation according to Work Plan or assign task from line Manager.
• Ensure equity and inclusion in all project activities.
• Ensure the production of good quality, accurate, and timely implementation of planned mobilization activities against the objectives of the project and its achievement.
• Supervision of Behaviour change communication activities in Community.
• Conduct monitoring through Donor monitoring tools.
• Supervision of Social mobilization teams for planning of inteventions.
• Supervision of Advocacy Activities in Community.
• A desire to contribute to national development through community empowerment
• Supervise International WASH events (Global Hand washing day etc)
• Supervision of Sorting and Compiling of User Data
• (Water and Sanitation Users as per project plan)
• Responsible for the community investment grant program implementation at targeted areas.
• Responsible to build liaison and networking with Tehsil and District Administration and government line departments
