We are looking for a Remote operation assistant for our chain of restaurants based in Canada.
- The operations assistant's responsibilities include reporting directly to the Manager and fulfilling the Manager's duties in their absence.
- He/She should also be well-versed in internal operations, take minutes at meetings, write and forward and emails as required, prepare and file relevant documents and ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- To be successful as an operations assistant, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills and juggle multiple tasks.
- In addition, top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Acting as second-in-command to the Manager and taking care of all duties in their absence.
- Assisting the Manager with operational issues and ensuring all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with restaurant managers, supervisors and trainers.
- Scheduling meetings and team building sessions as required.
- Promptly answering the questions of staff and other stakeholders.
- Preparing and updating logs, forms and other documents if required.
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager.

- Ability to think fast work-related problems and come up with immediate solutions
- Strong written and communication, organization, interpersonal & Reporting skills
- Ability to remain composed even under the strictest of conditions
