My Technology Pvt. Limited is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment.
- Your duties will include supervising junior developers, developing software and configure systems and performing diagnostics tests throughout the stages of development and enhance the company’s software performance.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with a majority of the following
- Agular, Node, PHP, Laravel deployments on staging & production environment
- Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytical needs.
- Participates in architecture design activities.
- Working in a unix based environment
- Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
- Ensure high-availability, performance and scalability and security of the production systems.
- Implement best practices to ensure 100% uptime
- Troubleshoot deployment/production issues
- Identify and implement automation to improve DevOps operations
- Implementing and improving continuous integration ( Cl ) for multiple projects in the company
- Developing workflows to enable Continuous Deployment (CD) for multiple projects
- Setting up and maintaining various virtual environments (VMs, and Containers)
- Automating various tasks using scripting
- Implementing and maintaining cluster environments
- Using Static Code Analysis tools to improve the quality of the code base
- Planning and supporting release management for multiple projects in the company
- Monitoring the Infrastructure and application stack
- Provisioning development, staging, and testing environments.
- Virtualized environments like VMWare and Docker containers
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study
- Must have at least 5 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure As Code: Ansible, Terraform, cloud formation
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Knowledge of development in PHP, Laravel, Angular, Node will be a big plus
- Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
