MZ Digital Solutions is seeking a skilled Video Editor with at least three years of experience to craft compelling visual stories through video. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and audio editing to enhance video quality from concept through post-production. This role involves using industry-standard software tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to create polished and professional video content that aligns with project goals. The position emphasizes collaborative workflow, requiring close coordination with creative teams to deliver engaging multimedia projects on schedule.
The Video Editor will be responsible for all stages of the editing process including storyboarding, multicam editing, visual effects integration, and final compression and exporting of video files in various formats. This role does not include team management duties but demands strong organizational and communication skills to effectively contribute to collective creative outcomes. The successful candidate will consistently apply technical expertise and artistic judgment to produce high-quality videos that meet the standards and expectations of MZ Digital Solutions and its clients.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into well-structured, visually appealing video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Apply advanced color grading techniques to enhance the visual tone and consistency of video projects.
- Create and integrate motion graphics and visual effects to support storytelling and elevate video quality.
- Perform audio editing to balance, clean, and enhance sound elements within video projects.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop storyboards that reflect project objectives and client requirements.
- Manage multicam editing workflows to produce seamless cuts from multiple camera angles.
- Ensure final video files are properly compressed and exported to meet various delivery standards and platforms.
- Maintain an organized post-production workflow that supports efficient collaboration and timely completion of projects.
- Continuously update knowledge of emerging video editing tools and industry trends to improve editing quality and efficiency.
