Paramount Lace is looking for an experienced Full Stack WordPress / Shopify Web Developer with at least 1 - 3 years of experience.
- An agile web developer who is highly skilled in performing both back-end and front-end WordPress / Shopify development.
- The position requires an individual with thorough knowledge in areas such as PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Liquid coding.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality with Customized Solutions if needed
- Experience working with WordPress/WooCommerce.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme.
- Knowledge of PHP best practices, debugging and profiling.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Create landing pages for marketing campaigns in coordination with the E-Commerce team.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Requirements:
- Must be having strong concepts of OOP, Databases, Logic building and debugging.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including Bootstrap, HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS, JQuery, JavaScript, Liquid.
- Experience in Shopify / WordPress themes and plugins development
- Experience in custom plugins development in CorePHP or any PHP related MVC framework and strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Implement advanced debugging techniques and usage of browser developer tools.
- Experience with Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.
- Experience with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
- Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating Custom Solutions if necessary.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
