The basic requirements for the position are as follow:Responsibilities:· Responsible for creating Charges based on superbill· Responsible for timely submission of claims to insurance companies· Obtain referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures· Working directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get a claim processed and paid· Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims· Verifying patients’ insurance coverage (Eligibility)· Answering patients’ billing questions· Handling collections on unpaid accounts· Managing the facility’s Accounts Receivable reportsRequirements:· At least a Bachelor’s degree· Minimum of 5 years of work experience· Excellent knowledge of coding, billing cycle and insurance guidelines· Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills· Knowledge of Urgent Care billing would be an advantageJob Details
