NAXXA Consulting is seeking an application architect to join our growing team. You will be part of a data-driven decision-making culture and collaborate with our data engineers to help build our data platform and enhance the existing systems that drive our business. You will provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship as a member of a team of diverse engineers. You should be comfortable making key technical decisions during the development of a system, while balancing the needs of the business and the overall quality. You will also be responsible for
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience architecting rich, scalable, data-driven web or mobile applications on Node.js, react/redux, Angular, JavaScript
- Support software development as an application architect on how to best leverage standards, best practices, design patterns and frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product and UX to provide valuable input in to layouts, navigation, functional design, usability and delivery of the product features.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, performance etc.
- Run code reviews to assure quality metrics are followed, while maintaining expectations
- Experience with code coverage, unit testing, and integration tests.
- Experience with schema-free/flexible databases using NoSQL technologies like MongoDB
- Experience with frontend development, including JavaScript and responsive layout across a wide number of form factors. Experience with React/Redux is a bonus.
- Experience deploying large-scale Node.js application on AWS, Heroku, or other cloud platform
- Experience in Open ID, OAuth 1.0/2.0, XACML, Cryptography is required.
