Ncri is seeking a dedicated Collection Officer to join our team and contribute to effective debt recovery operations. The successful candidate will leverage their five years of experience to manage and oversee the collections process, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. As a key member of the collections department, the Collection Officer will manage a team of 20 persons, providing guidance and support to meet the companys financial recovery objectives.
The Collection Officer will take ownership of identifying delinquent accounts, developing strategic plans for collections, and maintaining professional relationships with debtors. This position plays a critical role in minimizing financial losses and maintaining the companys cash flow. The ideal candidate demonstrates resilience, excellent negotiation skills, and an ability to analyze accounts to prioritize collection efforts effectively. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential to accomplish the companys debt recovery goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of 20 collection agents, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to recover overdue payments promptly.
- Monitor and analyze delinquent accounts to prioritize collection activities and reduce outstanding debt.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection efforts including communications and transactions.
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with debtors while ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Provide regular reports on collection performance and progress toward financial recovery targets.
- Train and mentor team members to improve collection techniques and customer service skills.
- Handle escalated collection cases and resolve complex disputes efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments such as finance and legal to streamline debt recovery processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards governing debt collection practices.
