Position Highlights:
- Define network policies and procedures
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Maintaining and upgrading IT networks, inventory and in house servers
- Providing tier 1 support to users based on the tickets assigned or on call
- Liaising with vendors and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date with developments
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords and ensure network security and connectivity
- Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues reported by end user and others when they arise
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Preferred Masters in Information Technology
- 2 to 3 years of experience
- Should be able to work in flexible hours on any assigned tasks
- Should have very good experience of routing and switching
- Should have sound knowledge of NGFW
