We are looking for an excellent WordPress Full Stack Developer to join our team as a part time developer (20 hours per week), initially. Based on the performance in the first three months, you are likely to get a chance to work with our team full-time.
As a WordPress Developer, who will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including forming WordPress themes and plugins, the successful candidate will also work closely with our Graphic Design and Consulting teams to build websites using provided mockups. The developer will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability and accessibility
We are expecting that the candidate must have strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems. He must write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Must have at least 2 years of solid experience in WordPress theme & plugin customization
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Must have strong knowledge of working with WordPress REST API and its customization
- Must have knowledge of best SEO practices
- Must have strong knowledge of database
- Create website layout/user interface using standard HTML/CSS/Bootstrap practices
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and scaling our sites
- Minimum 2 years experience PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, jQuery & JavaScript
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user/system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Cross-browser testing, git, are good to know
- Must have solid understanding of W3C standards
