We are seeking a Graphic Designer/Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and producing all visual content across websites and E-Commerce channels to deliver a market-leading, relevant and engaging customer experience, maximizing conversion and driving sales. In addition, as a Social Media Specialist, you must have a strong working knowledge of advertising on various online and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google reviews and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the E-Commerce Content Manager to design visually compelling assets, content and site updates and refreshes for use across our global, responsive websites.
- Liaise closely with Sales Manager to ensure designs maximise sales opportunities and site conversion
- Conduct continual analysis of competitor activity both onsite and across digital marketing channels, as well as the key market trends, new regulations and developments
- Develop graphics for product listings on e-commerce platforms, web pages, social media, signage, publications, brochures, posters, newsletters, etc.
- Develop and execute social media strategies, including paid ads
- Measure and adjust the success of our social media marketing and make adjustments/suggestions as necessary
- Understand target audience and apply design strategy to layouts
- Understand brand and retail strategies
- Create marketing materials to be used across various media platforms, developing creative concepts for consideration
- Keep up to date with our audience's preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns
Skills:
- High level understanding of current marketing communication and media channels.
- Good understanding of cross browser and email compatibility, SEO, accessibility and usability design for the web
- Understanding of the marketing funnel and phases of the customer journey
- Ability to design for both print and digital
- Ability to communicate design considerations (both written and verbal)
- Experience in creating landing pages
- Proven experience working in a Web Design role within a retail E-Commerce environment or substantial, proven experience in responsive design
- Outstanding creative and graphic design skills with the ability to demonstrate clear understanding of products.
- Applications should include portfolios that showcase a strong selection of responsive, desktop/tablet/mobile landing pages, email campaigns and social banners, site design and creative work
- Full capability with Adobe Creative Cloud programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS with working experience of HTML email production. Knowledge of JavaScript would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver exceptional content to strict deadlines within a fast paced retail environment is essential
- High energy, confident , team player
- Pixel perfect attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over quality
- Experience in the e-commerce industry a plus
