Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and updating of all transactionary records of the company
- Monitoring the book-keeping and cash accounting entries made in the sub ledgers
- Ensuring that all spending are complying with control requirements
- Ensuring that deposits are made with bank in time
- Checking of Invoices and Expenses for accuracy and compliance with the controls
- Prepare Payments
- Independantly handle month end closing
- Handling imprest cash and payments thereof. Proper recording of patty cash payments.
- Bank Reconciliation
- File management for physical documents
- Assist in the preparation of Income Tax Returns assignment.
- Capturing cash transactions
- Supplier Tax handling; main are outlined below:
- Ensuring proper Withholding Tax is deducted from payments and recorded as liability in the books.
- Making sure this payable is deposited with the treasury in time complying with the law requirements.
- Proper filling of Supplier Tax Challan.
- Providing copies of these challans to the vendor on request.
