Technical assistant required by experienced entrepreneur for long term position dealing with all IT functions, including data research and management. All round technical assistant able to grow to become webmaster and business manager in new UK real estate development company. This is an expanding role.We are Resolute Estates Ltd. Our business is about UK land use. We enter into joint venture partnerships. To attract people to us, we provide “must have” data to property professionals. Our company is only two years old but the director-shareholder has many years of commercial experience and other present business interests w hich no longer require his full time attention. We want someone who will grow fast into the role of webmaster, data controller and general assistant to the director. Our website is operational but we are only beginning the task of setting up “must-have” data as a reason to bring prospective customers to the site. We need someone who is determined to get every detail right, but also able to think“outside the box”, to find ways to do things even better.We understand that there will be a learning curve. We do not expect instant understanding. We shall be patient.This is a full time job with a long term career in mind.Pay: Rs.40k / month for first three months’ trial. After that, it will be Rs50k, with twice yearly increments dependent on usef ulness.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a sharp brain, proven by an excellent degree;
- Have the determination to get every detail correct;
- Be someone who regards every small problem as a challenge to be overcome;
- Be able to deal with a wide variety of work;
- Love responsibility and success;
- Be someone who can look down on the whole forest as well as walk among the trees. have excellent written and spoken English;
- Have a degree from “Top 20" university, in anything which provides evidence of a sharp brain and high level competence in IT;
Most immediate tasks:
- Internet research and data provision for public access via our website. We need to populate the database set up by our coder, with data from the websites of up to 20 English local government authorities. W e shall then maintain that data by periodic renewal. However, this not a job for someone happy with a life of data entry. Setting that up is just the start. Our data m anagement system will be the backbone of a data provision service open to the public.
- Help to decide on the best ways to show our data and instruct our coders accordingly.
- Constant SEO and CRO management.
- Website page management - news articles and more.
- We have subscribed to Mail Chimp. We have a list of about 200 estate and land agents who could help to find joint venture partners. W e shall contact them from time to time and record all contacts, so that we can refine its effectiveness. All is set up. We now need to operate the system.
- Constantly: help with many small elements of VA work.
- Steadily: grow into a manager, able to deal with many elements and controlling several others who deal with lower level areas previously handled by you.
