- Attend any breakdown and any subsequent repair/return visit.
- To undertake equipment upgrades including replacing batteries, capacitors and fans
- To undertake commissioning of any new equipment installed.
- To be available for participation in office hour on-call rota.
- To promote the company image on site by providing a professional service to customers,
- Identify opportunities for equipment, maintenance contracts and replacement UPS, Battery and Capacitor sales.
- To appropriately and professionally respond to all requests for assistance (whether on call or otherwise).
- The engineer must be prepared to cover varying locations within city and outside.
- The engineer will maintain his tools/equipment and be mindful of when it requires calibration and PAT testing.
- Experience in the maintenance, repair and commissioning of un interruptible power supplies (UPS) or similar - rectifiers, AC / DC inverter drives, SMPSU, power electronics etc.
