We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer with a CCIE certification to join our IT Infrastructure Services team based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions, particularly in WAN and LAN architectures. Expertise in DNS, Proxy, VPN, and Infoblox technologies is essential. This role involves working closely with global customers to develop network designs, cost models, and operational documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The successful candidate will also provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and mentor peers on network design and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed specifications to define and illustrate network designs and configurations.
- Design network solution architectures and develop comprehensive implementation documentation for both customer and operational use.
- Provide WAN/LAN network design, implementation, consulting, and leadership for data and converged communication infrastructures using available network equipment.
- Perform design integration for complex, cross-functional systems and lead technical design reviews for various infrastructure projects.
- Serve as a high-level technical resource, delivering Network Design Engineering services in support of global customer networks.
- Develop network designs and cost models tailored to customer-specific opportunities, presenting these to product and contract management teams.
- Define and enforce standards and best practices for network design, testing, and implementation methodologies.
- Review network designs and bills of material in collaboration with project managers and peer network engineers.
- Coordinate schedules, tasks, resources, and dependencies to ensure timely completion of network design projects.
- Train peers on end-to-end network designs and operating procedures to enhance team capabilities.
- Design WAN infrastructure and remote connectivity solutions for customer sites.
- Develop IP address plans and naming conventions aimed at minimizing address usage, optimizing network performance, and standardizing equipment names.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree or equivalent.
- CCIE Certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience with DNS, Proxy, VPN, and Infoblox technologies.
- Strong background in network design, implementation, and consulting for WAN/LAN environments.
