The warehouse manager supervises all activities of that facility, which often involves overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage.
Job Description:
- Manage the warehousing and storage of all materials.
- Supervise the delivery of materials and supplies to all departments as per schedule and /or request.
- Insure accuracy of completed request form.
- Plan & direct the inventory and stock control programs for Materials.
- Tracking and Maintaining inventory levels in the assembly and stores for all items / accessories are required.
- Maintain the inventory of supplies coordinate the replacement and ordering of such.
- Complete low stock report forms.
- Work closely with the production to recommend quantities of supplies for purchase.
- Develop procedures and recommend estimates for an orderly replacement of exiting materials as it expires or deteriorates.
- Keeping a stock control system up-to-date and planning future capacity requirements.
- Planning and monitoring warehouse operations of receipt, storage, return of unsold stock, inventory control and monitoring inbound logistics.
- Producing regular reports on ERP and providing statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
- Supervise processing of all receiving reports on all shipments received through the warehouse.
- Perform other duties assigned by Management.
Other Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Accounts / Audit / Sales Departments
- Coordinate with Transportation / Logistics
- Maintain Perpetual Inventory
- Conduct Physical Inventory Periodically
- Supervising all the shipments / deliveries & receiving
