  • Order Taker is responsible for taking phone calls and attending walking customers for orders taking in a friendly and efficent manner
  • Take payments and offer change
  • Ensure complete knowledge of menu/prices, restaurant promotions, specials, deals, discounts, offers and basic knowledge of how menu items are prepared, etc.
  • Should have ability to upsell food items from menu
  • Ensure that correct order has been punched in and keep a check upon delivery of order accordingly
  • Able to manage cash draw in accordance to accounting guidelines told by the management
  • Prepare reports at the end of shift/week/month including staff performance, food control & sales
  • Should be able to check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
