You will be part of a team dedicated to engineering core technologies for scalable, high-performance AI systems. This role involves redefining system architectures, autonomous self-management, advanced system fabrics, and hardware–software co-design for next-generation AI platforms. Your responsibilities will include AI system-level modeling and simulation for scale-out platforms, developing agentic and autonomous system architectures, innovating high-performance networking and transport solutions across AI compute fabrics, and designing memory disaggregation and system-level fabric architectures for large AI systems. You will also engage in protocol acceleration unit design and architectural modeling. Collaboration with senior architects to prototype concepts, evaluate performance, and influence emerging system designs will be a key aspect of your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct AI system-level modeling and simulation for scalable platforms
- Develop agentic, autonomous, and self-configuring system architectures
- Innovate high-performance networking and transport solutions across AI compute fabrics
- Design memory disaggregation and system-level fabric architectures for large AI systems
- Participate in protocol acceleration unit design and architectural modeling
- Collaborate with senior architects to prototype concepts, assess performance, and shape system designs
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a PhD or MS by Research program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Strong fundamentals in computer architecture, systems, or distributed computing
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: system/architecture modeling or analysis; networking, interconnects, or system fabrics; AI/ML systems or platforms; hardware–software co-design or FPGA prototyping
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages
- Ability to generate innovative ideas, conduct experiments, and communicate results effectively
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
