- Understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine-learning approaches, neural networks, clustering and classification techniques, and optimization algorithms.
- The ability to examine business problems and identify the required machine-learning algorithms (i.e. classification, clustering, regression, forecasting, optimization … etc.)
- The ability to formulate and solve optimization problems.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to create and manipulate data architectures.
- The ability to work with and manipulate large data sets in order to discover trends/patterns , draw insights and identify meaningful correlations between variables.
- Experience Presenting information using data visualization techniques.
- Experience with selecting appropriate Machine Learning algorithms suited for the selected learning task , condition/structure of the data.
- Develop, test, validate, implement and fine-tune predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to predict key variables or detect process anomalies.
- Azure Databricks data Scientist with manufacturing experience is a big plus.
