Nextbridge Private Limited immediately requires an Intern ROS Engineer to work in Linux environment.
Graduates from reputable universities; having good communication skills with their academic project/internship done on Robot Operating System (ROS) are highly encouraged to apply.
Our internship program is a paid 45 hours per week position that lasts 3 months. At the successful conclusion of the internship program, the ideal intern transitions to a full-time Developer position at the company. This means we are not interested in candidates who are only available for a limited time, such as a summer internship, and/or need to return to college full-time.
Requirements:
- Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline.
- Strong concepts of OOP, Databases, Data structures and Algorithms.
- Significant knowledge of ROS, Python and C/C++ development
- Excellent knowledge of Visual Odometry and Kalman Filter.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns is necessary.
- Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethics.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
- Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and attention to detail.
- A sharp mind with the ability to grasp concepts quickly and work out complex logic problems.
- Ability to use effective ways of Programming.
- UML Knowledge
- Version Control System (SVN, GIT, Mercurial)
Following skills would be a PLUS:
- MATLAB, OpenCV
- NumPy, Scipy and Matplotlib
- Image Processing
- Hands on Linux development environment
- Community and/or campus involvement.
