Center Coordinator (Day Care)

The NigranCare Center Coordinator (CC) will plan and implement creative and age-appropriate programs catering to the care, developmental and learning needs of the children accessing our child minding services. As part of her/his role she will take on parental communication and remain a representative as well as authoritative figure within the larger team.

I. Responsibilities

Assist manager in preparation and Implementation of a well-rounded program to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program

Welcomes children and parents every morning inform them about program expectations, program activities and their child’s progress

Implement quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily activity plans in keeping with the developmental and learning outcomes forecasted for the set time period

Ensure that at all times the child’s best interest remains the prerogative

Ensure that the children receive adequate exposure to a variety of environments, indoors, outdoors, on-premises, off-premises

Inspect the cleaning and functionality of the center and report to admin on daily basis.Inspection and Maintenance of activity area before and after any activity.

Making sure that adequate resources are available for smooth running of center

Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story telling

Build children’s esteem

Establish routines and provide positive guidance

Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable

Implement positive discipline when required

Communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that children understand

Skills
