Nimir Chemicals Pakistan Limited was incorporated as an unquoted public limited company on November 30, 1989 under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 by Ravi Group as Ravi Chemicals Limited. The name of the company was later changed to Hoechst Ravi Chemicals Limited on August 7, 1994 as a result of a joint venture with Hoechst.
