Job Description

  • Develop and implement internal auditing policies, procedures, and program;
  • Review of accounting procedures;
  • Lead special projects on request of senior management;
  • Ensures that the audit plan concentrates on key business processes and controls, including major projects as identified by the business;
  • Ensures that audit recommendations (issues) are limited to areas that will make a real difference to the business (Checking that issues don’t create anarchy but are discussed in better sense for betterment of company);
  • Investigate and determine causes of irregularities, and errors (By Meeting with HODs of relevant Departments);
  • Recommend corrective action and suggest improvement;
  • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations;
  • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans;
  • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.;
  • Holds the business accountable for the resolution of high and medium priority actions. Interacts with senior management to ensure commitment on a timely basis (Take target dates and follow up as per target dates);
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process (Preparation of Monthly Internal Audit Report);
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement;
  • Maintain open communication with management and implement internal audits and control evaluations that comply with local and/or international requirements.
  • Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business;
  • Directs the audit staff in the identification, development and documentation of audit issues and Recommendations;
