NJ Trading is seeking a skilled Architect Designer with at least three years of experience to join our team. This position involves creating innovative architectural designs and detailed plans that meet client specifications and expectations. The candidate will use expertise in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, 3D Max, and Lumion, and construction documentation to deliver high-quality design solutions. The role requires hands-on experience measuring client sites, developing design plans, and coordinating closely with both clients and the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. The Architect Designer will also lead and manage a small team, guiding them to enhance design capabilities and execution. Collaboration with the company headquarters is essential to continuously improve design quality and processes. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with customers and sales personnel. The ability to listen to client requirements and translate them into functional, aesthetically pleasing designs is a key component of this role.
Responsibilities
- Measure client property accurately following detailed measuring instructions to gather essential site data.
- Develop comprehensive architectural design plans that align with client needs and expectations using specialized software and design tools.
- Prepare detailed construction documents and presentations, ensuring all design elements are clearly communicated and meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team to present design plans to clients, assisting in explaining technical details and addressing client inquiries to support the sales process.
- Submit finalized design orders to the Chinese factory for production, ensuring all specifications are clear and complete.
- Manage and mentor a design team member, providing guidance, feedback, and support to cultivate their professional growth and improve overall team performance.
- Actively engage with company headquarters to receive feedback and implement improvements aimed at enhancing design quality and operational efficiency.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the design and development phases to ensure satisfaction and adapt plans as necessary.
- Stay informed of industry trends, new technologies, and design software updates to continuously upgrade personal and team skills.
- Coordinate effectively with various internal departments to ensure smooth project progression and timely completion.
