- The ERP Consultant will analyze the systems and work directly with clients and management to define system requirements, design, and propose solutions, configure the software.
- The candidate must have knowledge of ERP systems, design, and implementation of financial processes for ERP solution and formalizing functional specification documentation.
- This position will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and supporting current and future ERP state for the ERP solution.
- The position is also responsible to design data flows and to work with solution delivery for successful integration of the ERP system being rolled out.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The role will be required to work across the functional business groups in the definition of requirements, solution design, designing financial processes required for ERP solutions, designing work flows and detailing functional specifications, supervising solution delivery team for functional configuration, testing, and implementation of ERP Systems.
- The resource should have experience in implementation of ERP modules related to:
- Financials (AR, AP, GL, Budgeting, Forecasting, Asset Management)
- Human Resource
- CRM
- Inventory
- Production
- Supply Chain
Responsibilities include:
- Act as ERP Functional Lead for design and development of Financials modules on customized ERP solution implementation
- Manage client meetings, workshops to gather and validate business requirements and finalize financial processes for the above-mentioned ERP modules.
- Complete business analysis and system configuration deliverables for ERP implementation projects.
- Formalize business requirement documentation, solution design and functional specification documentation.
- Finalize functional requirements addressing gaps to system capabilities to propose technology solutions and appropriate workarounds.
- Contributing to testing efforts including the preparation of test scenarios and test scripts and validations of test results across testing cycles
- Assisting in the end-to-end business process testing of new ERP solutions.
- Contributing to data conversion and integration activities associated with ERP deployments.
- Providing production cutover/transition support
- Building long-term business relationships with the client.
