Job purpose Become part of the Nomad The Agency's growing marketing team in Toronto to write creative, informative and persuasive B2B copy that sells. You will create content across a variety of channels for Nomad the agency.Job overview In a role reporting to the creative director, you will turn dry technical subjects into outstanding pieces of clear and concise content. You’ll show natural ability managing multiple briefs across different media in a fast-paced business, while consistently delivering quality work. Day-to-day responsibilities 

  • Write digital copy, scripts, and general marketing content that’s clear, concise and engaging.
  • Write ad copies for Social, PPC, and Native ads (suggestions/changes as per relevance score, quality score, etc.)
  • Outstanding ‘storytelling’ skills and the ability to write SEO-optimized content targeting a variety of business people.
  • Write 3-4 blog posts per week.
  • Collaborate with the design team to plan and develop website content, style, and layout.
  • Assisting with social media calendar planning.
  • Develop email campaign copies.
  • Work on Content optimization research and suggest content changes.
  • Write great copy that stands out in a market saturated with similar messages.
  • Use technical content and expertise from within the company as well as performing deep research.
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer behavior, and the latest trends to improve the performance of your writing and content.
  • Ensure all copy is delivered to brief, on time, and to the required quality standards.

What you bring to the team 

  • Familiar with Buzzsumo and Google Trends.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization techniques
  • 3 years’ minimum professional copy/content writing experience.
  • An ability to empathize with your reader/target audience to create the desired content/outcome.
  • Off page SEO best practices
  • A track record of developing marketing content from conception to delivery to impact, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent understanding of digital content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS) to build and publish content.
