Noor Sons is seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of proven experience in the accounting field and possess strong skills in financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. This role requires proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP, ensuring accurate and timely financial data processing. The Accountant will support daily financial operations, contribute to month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
In this position, the Accountant works independently without managing a team, focusing on accurate bookkeeping and financial transaction recording. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing expenses and revenue, and collaborating with other departments to maintain effective financial controls. The role demands strong attention to detail, consistency in record-keeping, and the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly. Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain the general ledger with precision.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and recording.
- Prepare accurate financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow to support financial planning.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare necessary documentation.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions and document supporting information.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide required documentation and explanations.
- Use accounting software tools, such as QuickBooks and SAP, to streamline financial data entry and reporting.
- Identify discrepancies in financial documents and work to resolve inconsistencies promptly.
- Support budgeting processes by providing analysis of financial data and trends.
- Continuously improve accounting procedures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
