Noor Zainab Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of clinical experience and demonstrates strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques to address a wide range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. This position involves managing a team of five professionals and requires a compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent clinical judgment and the ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The Speech and Language Pathologist will use evidence-based therapy methods in conjunction with clinical assessment tools to support patient rehabilitation and foster their communication development. The role requires working collaboratively with patients, their families, and other care providers to ensure comprehensive care and the best possible outcomes. The professional will conduct thorough evaluations, including assessments of speech sound disorders, phonological processes, oral-motor functions, and swallowing abilities. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this position emphasizes leadership and team management to enhance the quality and effectiveness of therapy services at Noor Zainab Rehabilitation Center. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using clinical observation, speech-language assessment tools, and evidence-based techniques to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on improving articulation, phonological processes, oral-motor skills, language development, and swallowing functions.
  • Manage and lead a team of five speech therapy professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes.
  • Utilize a variety of therapy techniques including articulation therapy, phonological process therapy, oral-motor therapy, aphasia therapy, and dysphagia management to address diverse therapy needs.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans to maximize effectiveness and achieve therapy goals.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while fostering open communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation and communication improvement.
  • Perform phonological awareness and oral-motor assessments to identify underlying difficulties affecting speech and feeding, and design interventions accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and patient progress according to professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, strategies, and home practice techniques to complement clinical therapy sessions and encourage active participation in rehabilitation.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech and language pathology by engaging in professional development activities, evidence-based practice reviews, and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators to develop comprehensive care plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure therapy sessions are conducted in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment conducive to learning and patient engagement.
  • Identify swallowing and feeding difficulties through specialized assessments and implement swallowing therapy techniques to improve feeding safety and efficiency.
  • Apply clinical assessment techniques meticulously to differentiate among various speech sound disorders and design appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Oversee clinical operations within the speech therapy department to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and patient flow.
  • Promote awareness of communication disorders and advocate for patient needs within the organization and the broader community.
