The successful candidate is likely to be AAT qualified or qualified/part qualified ACCA with recent experience of bookkeeping/accounting gained either in practice or industry for a minimum 2 years.

  • We will also consider you if you are not qualified but have significant experience(over 6 years) of working in the accounting /bookkeeping role.
  • Knowledge and experience of working on Sage Line 50, QuickBooks and Xero accounting software are advantageous.
  • Full training will be provided Ability to speak and write good English is a must as you will be required to speak with our UK clients on the phone or communicate with them via emails on a regular basis. 
  • Please don’t apply if you are not fluent in English.
  • The firm is growing and there is a lot of opportunity for the right candidate to grow with the organization and manage this Branch for us in the next 5 years or so.

The duties will include:

  • Maintaining and analyzing sales and purchase ledgers
  • Appropriately coding and posting supplier invoices
  •  Processing sales/Purchase invoices, receipts and payments
  •  Recording bank transactions
  •  Bank reconciliations
  • Resolving bookkeeping queries and liaising with clients and UK team members
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
  • Completing VAT returns for UK clients
  • Completing and Processing Payroll for UK clients
  •  Undertaking bookkeeping to trial balance using Sage, QuickBooks & XERO
  • Prepare management account for a portfolio of clients on a monthly basis.
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management Profile For the Bookkeeper/Senior Accountant role you
  • Must have experience in a Bookkeeping/accounting role for a minimum of 2years.
  • Qualified AAT or Part Qualified ACCA.
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately
  • An eye for detail
  • An ability to work to deadlines
  •  Great organization skills
  •  Good Excel & Computer Skills
  • Can work under pressure
