Nutright is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with experience in Ruby on Rails to contribute to our increasing development efforts. Your primary role will be to enhance and evolve our existing web application. You’ll also have the ability to immediately impact decision-making in a high-growth company. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company. We don’t want to cut corners, and we don’t make compromises—we create beautifully architected Rails apps that are polished, fast, well-tested, and a joy to use. Is that you? What you'll do:
Build new features from the ground up
Write end-to-end tested software
Deploy production changes daily
Become an integral contributor to the direction of the product and team
Learn to use new technologies and paradigms
What you'll need:
- Ruby on rails 2-4+ years of Ruby and web application development (with recent relevant experience using Rails 4)
- Database - Knowledgeable in PostgreSQL and SQL query language (ability to write and optimize SQL queries)
- Javascript / Front End - 2-4+ years of experience with modern web protocols and markup languages (CSS, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, AJAX, etc) and Cross-browser Compatibility Experience -- Experience with MVC frameworks is a big plus
- The drive to own high-impact projects from day one
- Restful APIs Integration
- Optimizing technology for mobile apps
- Source codes hosted on Github
