Oasis Packaging Industries (Pvt) Ltd is an manufacturing concern engaged in the business of flexible packaging. Our unit is located in Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore; counting a work-force employing more than 130+ full time employees.
Human Resources Specialist, who will report directly to the Director will be responsible to provide all effective delivery of HR services and functions. Position is located at office based at above address. Specific responsibilities include;
Roles & Responsibilities;
- Initiate the development and implementation of a strong HR policy; design HR initiatives and systems
- Design and implement the medical and life Insurance for all staff members
- Ensure compliance of PESSI & EOBI, including enlistment of eligible staff members
- Design and manage staff retention measures including a Gratuity / Endowment policy
- Provide assistance in the recruitment process including review of job descriptions, advertisements, screening of applications, interview and selection process, completing reference checks, background screenings, and make recommendations for the job offer to be made for the selected candidates
- Maintenance of Management of information systems to record, maintain, plan and manage the organization’s human resources
- Manage staff attendance and ensure that staff profiles are created and entered in attendance management system in a timely manner
- Provide backstopping support to staff on HRIS (JEMs) including; updating staff records, timely approval of staff leave and timely submission of monthly timesheets.
- Ensure effective administration of the performance management processes including appraisals after probation period, performance improvement plan (PIP) and annual staff appraisals
- Responsible for developing and generating reports that track staff hires, retention, turnover; and other related reports as needed
- Provide day-to-day administration of staff benefits and answer queries from staff regarding benefits
- Coordinate all exit procedures for staff leaving Oasis Packaging Industries (Pvt) Ltd and assist to ensure timely processing full & final settlements.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills;
- 3-4+ years HR experience with a reputed organization preferably in manufacturing sector
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong English communications and writing skills
- Strong organizational, coordination and planning skills
- Ability to work independently under intense pressure to perform
