ESG and Risk Insights Specialist for Overseas Markets (Pakistan)

OCF Corporate Advisory is seeking an insightful and detail-oriented ESG and Risk Insights Specialist to support its expansion into the Pakistan market. This role is critical to the companys international strategy, providing a strong foundation of safety and compliance through thorough on-site assessments and strategic analysis. While primarily a remote position, the specialist will conduct regular field visits to relevant regions to gather first-hand information, engage in key conversations, and conduct on-site research. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, risk management frameworks, and due diligence to deliver reliable risk insights that influence strategic investment decisions. The specialist will analyze geopolitical risks, corporate governance developments, and investment project challenges within Pakistan, including sensitive areas like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and regional security concerns. The role demands high-level analytical skills, proficiency in intelligence gathering techniques such as OSINT and HUMINT, and the ability to produce professional, executive-level reports. Candidates with strong local knowledge, networks across government and security sectors, and experience in regional security or due diligence are preferred. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive due diligence assessments that provide critical, actionable insights for investment decision-making in overseas markets, with a primary focus on Pakistan.
• Independently produce detailed, professional reports to senior management, analyzing the potential impact of geopolitical events and market developments on the industry.
• Evaluate the credibility and accuracy of diverse information sources to ensure reliability and protect the companys business interests from misinformation.
• Monitor and interpret the latest evolving corporate governance regulations, ESG standards, and risk management practices from Pakistans regulatory authorities and investment landscape.
• Lead ESG risk analyses, integrating environmental, social, and governance factors into the evaluation of potential investment targets and supply chain partners.
• Apply expertise in regional security dynamics including geopolitical tensions and infrastructure projects to assess risks and provide forward-looking market warnings.
• Utilize advanced due diligence techniques such as OSINT, HUMINT, and other investigative methods to deepen research quality and uncover critical risk factors.
• Maintain and expand networks within Pakistani military, police, investigative consultancies, and government sectors to support reliable intelligence gathering.
• Conduct regular on-site research trips to key regions in Pakistan to capture direct insights, verify intelligence, and engage with local stakeholders.
• Continuously explore and implement new research tools, data channels, and methodologies to enhance the depth and scope of risk and ESG analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally to align risk insights with corporate advisory, internal control, and enterprise risk management solutions.
• Support the strategic deployment of company resources by delivering timely, comprehensive risk assessments aligned with international compliance standards.
