Finance Manager Responsibilities

  • Experience in big IT setups or division of a large corporation. Segment experience should include Startup, Telecom, IT or ITES
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as Cash expenses, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
  • Have the strength to manage the finance department alone.
  • Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
  • Experience in spearheading complete Finance and Accounting & Purchase functions
  • Experience in handling Financial closure of books, Budgets, Income Tax, Service Tax, Excise & Taxation, companies Act, etc Getting the Assessments completed under various Acts, Getting Statutory and Internal Audits done
  • Strategic Financial Control, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Experience with Private limited company regulations and internal audits
  • good experience in managing tax compliance withholding, income, and sales tax.
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
  • Research and analyze financial reports and market trends
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary making and closing of accounts as per Pakistani law
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
  • Present financial reports to CEO very sharp in excel, data processing, and business intelligence
  • Treasury Management/Investment planning and working capital
  • Client billing and invoices, manage client accounts.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial transactions like stripe, wave apps, quick books.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies SOP’s and procedures for the company.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in big IT setups or division of a large corporation. Segment experience should include Startup, IT or healthcare
  • ACCA Qualified/ CA Inter (Article from Big Four)
  • 4+ years of experience in a finance role with an IT company
  • understanding of data privacy standards
