The Architectural Draftsman create technical drawings in CAD for residential and commercial buildings from architect’s sketches (Both MEP & Development), incorporating exact measurements and entering data to generate 3D design models.
- Analyzing building specifications and sites.
- Creating Technical drawings from Architect’s sketches and specifications.
- Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, and other construction details.
- Entering CAD data into Sketch up or similar modeling software to create 3D models.
- Preparing drawings, charts and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
- Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.
- Working as team player and monitoring other draftsman.
