This position is responsible for running the Information Technology Division and to manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business data processing, computer services, network communications and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
- Supervise and maintain different network-related servers like windows servers 2003 Enterprise.
- Manage and control firewalls
- Manger and control routers and switches for secure and controlled network traffic.
- Ensure smooth running of the company’s intranet and internet connectivity.
- Implement network security as required by management.
- Plan and supervise LAN and WAN deployment.
- Supervise troubleshooting of network and computer problems
- Maintain complete records of IT related equipment of the company.
- Manage, maintain and organize active network liaison with other departments to control flow of traffic within and outside the organization.
- Control and management support to the users.
- Helps in the preparation of network project feasibilities.
- Plan timeframe, hardware and human resources to accomplish the existing tasks.
- Plan, organize and direct all software developments to find procedural & software requirements and problems to be able to give better computer solutions.
- Plan & conduct training & support to the users.
- Plan and conduct training meetings with vendors/suppliers and solution providers for enhancements in IT infrastructure and innovations.
- Planning, controlling, developing, deploying, maintaining business intelligence service for management.
- Supervise planning and designing of procedures to avoid any data corruption/deletion/theft.
- Supervise designing backup procedures to avoid disaster management.
Additionally, this incumbent will also serve as a member of IT Steering Management Teams and will supply expertise and services to other departments as required.
