The IT Support officer is responsible for the computer and network systems of AKHS, P. He will be responsible of configure systems, network devices such as routers, firewalls, switched or wifi access points. Also diagnose the hardware/software fault and solve technical and application problems either over the phone or in person. She/he also manages VPN, ADS, Communication and Backup servers.
The IT Support officer is responsible for the computer and network systems of AKHS, P. Also diagnose the hardware/software fault and solve technical and application problems either over the phone or in person. She/he also manages VPN, ADS, Communication and Backup servers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Ensure the stability, integrity and efficiency of operations of in-house information systems
2. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
3. Monitoring and maintaining data center, computer systems and networks;
4. Troubleshoot and offer hands on support to make sure that data center keeps a high uptime.
5. Create and keep documentation and processes related to data center up to date.
6. Talking staff/clients for issue resolution through a series of actions, either face to face or over telephone;
7. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software problems on all systems.
8. Replacing hardware parts as required;
9. Participates in the execution and implementation of new application and infrastructure related projects and upgrades.
10. Manage and administer user accounts, network file share rights and user roles by performing system and account administration which includes, Active Directory accounts and system accounts, password reset etc.
11. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
12. Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
13. Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;
14. Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with internal & external customers and other professionals;
15. Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
16. Ensure VPN connectivity among all clinical units and also with and central office.
17. Maintaining log of user complain and share report on monthly basis.
18. Obtaining quotations for outsource works related to IT.
19. Preparing comparative analysis and processing ROPs related to IT works etc.
20. Maintain and update a list of IT vendors.
21. Maintain and update the list of assets pertaining to IT.
22. Liaison with regional IT lead for IT related tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer networks, data network, Telecommunication, Information Technology, or a related field
· 2 to 3 year of experience of various scanning and network monitoring tools, knowledges.
· Knowledge of Security Incident and Event Management practices and solutions.
· Knowledge of layer 2 and 3 routing protocols.
· Knowledge of firewall technology.
· . Strong knowledge of Microsoft and desktop support.
· 2. Knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, SSID, WPA/WPA2, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, PING.
· 3.Modules, VPN, Security, wireless and network protocols knowledge
· 4. Oracle database knowledge.
· 5. Knowledge of Active directory.
· Must be honest, respectful, flexible and be able to demonstrate sound work ethics
