Job Purpose
A General Manager Administration is in-charge of coordinating an Organization’s administration system and general workflows. Their duties include supervising staff, facilitating communication throughout a company and developing procedures to make a workplace more efficient.
Requirements
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Delegating tasks to administrative assistants
- Identifying opportunities to improve business policies or objectives
- Ensuring the company is operating securely and effectively
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (administration, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
