Job Purpose:
Survey the site to gather information, provide precise measurements and create digital maps and details reports. To advise clients, architects, and construction manager of any on-site conditions they should be aware of and performs layout work.
Responsibilities
- Setting out all line and level
- Checking contractor work
- Keeping as built record
- Filling all QA forms
- Helping and follow site engineer and site manager instructions
- Instruments calibration certificates
- Checking instrument accuracy on a weekly basis.
- Keeping records of all concrete cube tests
- Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects
- Report on survey results
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field
- Previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role
- Working knowledge of GPS and GIS
- Aptitude in math and problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Great organizational and leadership skills
