The AI Developer will focus on building and deploying AI models, managing automated workflows, and integrating multiple APIs to support company operations. Competency in Google Workspace API integration, automated email workflows, and CRM automation platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce is critical. Experience with AI agent frameworks and prompt engineering is highly valued to create intelligent agents that perform complex multi-step business processes beyond typical chatbot functionalities. This role suits a self-directed professional who proactively identifies and resolves issues without waiting for direction, ensuring robust and efficient AI-based systems. Although this position does not involve managing a team, collaboration with remote team members across different time zones is expected, contributing to the company’s digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models tailored to business needs using up-to-date frameworks and technologies.
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of applications on Linux servers, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient operation using Docker and SSH.
- Implement API integrations and develop automated workflows incorporating REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth protocols to streamline business processes.
- Create and maintain automated email workflows and customer relationship management automation within platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Develop and execute data preprocessing and data visualization tasks to support analytics and decision-making.
- Build and optimize AI agents or bots that automate complex, multi-step business procedures leveraging AI agent frameworks and prompt engineering techniques.
- Integrate machine learning solutions with database platforms including vector databases like ChromaDB and Pinecone, applying retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to synchronize development efforts across time zones, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Train and support non-technical users on browser-based AI tools and automation platforms, preparing clear documentation and instructional materials including screen recordings.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability and reliability of AI-driven solutions.
- Develop efficient, well-documented code using Node.js, JavaScript, and occasionally Python for automation scripts.
- Utilize HTML and CSS to design dashboards and reports that present AI outputs in an accessible and user-friendly format.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies such as serverless deployment, Anthropic’s Claude API, and OpenAI API, applying innovations to enhance automation.
- Participate in the evaluation and integration of workflow automation platforms such as Make.com, Zapier, and n8n to broaden automation capabilities.
- Contribute to business process automation by understanding both technical implementation and the strategic reasons for automations to maximize impact.
