The Business Development Manager for Real Estate Construction and Sales is an integral member of the team, responsible for successfully achieving sales objectives and furthering relationships with buyers and other industry professionals.This position is charged with identifying and cultivating relationships that create leads and sales opportunities. The successful candidate will be a persuasive and persuasive communicator, confident presenter and passionate believer in the company`s products, services, and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify, research and target new lead opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, contractors, government agencies and other industry professionals
- Prepare presentations to potential buyers
- Negotiate and close real estate sales contracts
- Cross-sell products and services
- Keep current on regional real estate trends
- Explain legal and contractual issues to potential buyers
- Commit to long-term client relationships
- Monitor and report on success of sales
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully finding, researching and introducing new leads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
- Strong work ethic and successful time management
- Solid understanding of regional real estate trends
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in sales, marketing, or business
- Professional experience with real estate sales and/or development, ideally at least 5 years
- Ability to travel as needed
