- Performs difficult and complex work assignments involving independent judgment to determine a course of action consistent with established functional and organization's policies and goals.
- Handle changes and drawing/shop revisions
- Reviewing as-built drawings from specific projects and field verifying the information as necessary to document actual conditions.
- Create and update drawings as obtained from previous drawings, marked prints, or freehand sketches
- Working closely with engineers to establish project details and develop civil (MEP) drawings. Prepare documents and drawings for engineers (MEP drawings experience is a must with power drawings & conduit drawings)
- Preparing detailed drawing packages necessary to perform all phases of deployment (Since we are an IT firm, we will be focusing on deployment plans (IT, civil, power, network, etc.).
Skills and Technical Competency
- Degree in (Drafting/CAD) or equivalent experience.
- General knowledge of building design and construction methodologies
- Strong working proficiency in the AutoCAD and Revit software applications
- Good team working skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively visualize 3D views from 2D plans
- Proficient in modeling and detailing in Inventor a plus
- Must be able to deliver a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
