Splicer / OFC Technician is responsible for managing OFC is operational round the clock on the road under his responsibility and is directly reported to OFC Supervisor for it, while adhering to the policies and following the SOPs laid down by the organization. OFC Tech / Splicer assists the OFC Supervisor in ensuring that all the responsibilities of OFC are being performed smoothly and in the most proficient manner.
1. To ensure that the deployment, tracing & troubleshooting of OFC is being timely managed.
2. Responsible for quick response if any OFC link goes down.
3. To ensure safety before performing activity on the fast track.
4. Responsible for maintenance of OFC tools after completion of the activity.
