Job Purpose
Onewood is looking for an experienced mobile software engineer responsible for development of multi-platform mobile applications (ANDROID, iOS, HTML5).
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications using the Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.IOS, Xamarin.forms and .NET Framework
- Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, unit testing and debugging, and documentation
- Perform in a scrum team role effectively managing multiple priorities
- Responsible for designing and implementing applications based on a varying degree of functional specifications
- Create highly sophisticated UI that takes into account mobile guidelines for Android and Apple
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field
- 3 years of proven work experience as Xamarin developer
- Excellent knowledge of mobile application architecture
- Excellent knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST & JSON
- Excellent knowledge of Mobile Application Security
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases
- Experience with test-driven development and mastery in software engineering tools
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design and debugging skills
- Experience of source control systems and configuration management
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Apple & Windows Operating systems
- Comfortable with complex data structures and algorithms, and absorbing new technologies quickly
- Knowledge of Cloud deployment architectures
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment
