You will be in charge of Advanced Analytics, strategy and planning for the organization with the vision of growing, developing and engaging a world class AI/ Data Science Center of excellence.
You will use machine learning techniques to design and implement propensity models to analyze customer shopping habits to develop recommendation engine.
Use bench-marking and predictive modeling to build data-driven insights to improve product offering for prospective and current customers.
Build, nurture and grow a team of Data Scientists at varying levels to maximize business impact.
Experience with Amazon Redshift/Google BigQuery or any other hosted large-scale data warehouses systems.
Experience with public clouds like Amazon AWS, Google GCP or Microsoft Azure.
Experience with large scale data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache
Storm or Hadoop.
Knowledge of advanced SQL and scripting for automation (e.g. R, Python, Perl or Ruby). Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies or competitor platform and reporting tools like Tableau, Excel or other BI packages.
Proven experience performing data science tasks including, data exploration, data management, data transformation, modeling and development activities, and machine learning in a cloud environment.
Experience in building data warehouse and business intelligence / analytics.
Good understanding of machine learning techniques like Naive Bayesian classifier, Linear/Logistic Regression classifier, RNNs etc.
Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Theano, Torch etc.
Comfortable conceptualizing ambiguous specifications / hypothesis and can prioritize on the fly.
10+ years of software development experience with a proven track record on technically demanding projects.
5+ years of experience in technical and functional designs for Databases, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Data Mining areas.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational aptitude and time management skills.
MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (or equivalent experience)
