Job Responsibilities :
- Be accountable for local financial bookkeeping and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and Corporate guidance (e.g. Pakistan GAAP, Accounting Rules, etc.).
- Take the lead on General Ledger activities, drive and coordinate the overall closing process for year-end/month-end closing, and provide valuable input on accounting treatment and financial analysis （checking report, vouchers, binding, etc.,）.
- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations and P&L account details.
- Coordinate the external and internal audit and ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and preparation of the audit file
- Work closely with the tax team on adjustments.
- Maintain an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions
- Develop, establish, and streamline the accounting processes and procedures
- Perform ad hoc project /task as assigned or required
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting
- Can-do attitude, down-to-earth, self-motivated
- Good analytical skills, innovative and continuous improvement mindset
- Proactive mentality and able to work under high pressure
- Strong leadership skills to manage and develop team, role model type
- Be willing and able to learn new things quickly
- Good skills in MS Office (e.g. EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
- Be willing to short travel for jobs domestically and internationally
Language skills & proficiency:
- Good English skills in Reading, Writing, and Speaking
Required experience:
- Have strong knowledge of Pakistan GAAP/IFRS and local taxation
- At least 10 years+ working experience in finance or accounting
- 3 years+ people management experience and project management experience
- Solid accounting software experience is required.
- Qualification in Finance & Accounting e.g. CPA, ACCA, and Big 4 experience is a plus
